Thiruvananthapuram: With the ruling front clipping the wings of the UDF ‘Green Brigade’ MLAs and Government Chief Whip P C George with a bar on verbal spat in public, it’s time for blog war now. George had launched his new blog ‘EMERGING FIGHT’ making a direct attack on UDF’s ‘Green’ MLAs’ blog ‘Greenthoughts Kerala’. ‘Greenthoughts Kerala’ is keenly following George’s blog — its ‘Blogs I Follow’ section has just one blog ‘EMERGING FIGHT’.

George, in his blog circles, has also added his bête noires’ blog - ‘Greenthoughts Kerala’ started by UDF MLAs - V D Satheesan, T N Pratapan, Hibi Eden, V T Balram (all from the Congress), M V Shreyams Kumar from SJD and K M Shaji of IUML. George has blogged the tale of the King Yayati, who exchanged old age with his son Puru, and alleged that some middle-aged people are trying to join Eden and Balram to appear young.

“It is a new item number in the public life that these people have adopted,” he blogs. In another post, he asks, “It should be looked into whether anyone in the UDF leadership is receiving salary from Pinarayi Vijayan.

Kerala: George, Green Brigade locked in war

George launched his blog 'EMERGING FIGHT' making a direct attack on UDF's 'Green MLAs' blog 'Greenthoughts Kerala\'.

Meanwhile, ‘Greenthoughts Kerala’ had posted the UDF MLAs’ report on Nelliyampathy, which alleges that the estate owners have violated the Forest Conservation Act and that the land should be taken back from them. Both the blogs have also touch upon other topics. While George chose to criticise CPM Kannur lobby, the UDF MLAs have their take on ‘Emerging Kerala’.

Surprisingly, the same UDF MLAs, who had demanded that the control and the ownership of the land put up for projects in ‘Emerging Kerala’, should be with the government, in their new post have mellowed down.
