Kerala: Mother kills newborn, stuffs body in bag

Thiruvananthapuram: In a horrifying act, a 24-year old hospital canteen worker killed her newborn girl and stashed the body in a handbag on Thursday, intending to dispose it, police said.

The woman gave birth to the girl in the bathroom of the hostel where she was staying and choked the infant to death, the police said.

She kept it inside the bag intending to dispose off the body.
