Kerala Police nabs two suspected SIMI

Kochi: Kerala Police has nabbed two suspected SIMI activists from Kochi.

The two had been arrested earlier in connection with a SIMI meeting at Binanipuram near Aluva in August, 2006 but were later released as no involvement could be proven.

A special investigating team, headed by DIG Vinod Kumar rounded up the two SIMI activists and is questioning them at the police club since Tuesday morning.

Police is questioning them in connection with a SIMI training camp held at Wagamon in Kottayam district in December, 2007.

Both the suspected SIMI activists are detained for questioning not "arrested."
