The Meteorological Department says monsoons in Kerala this year, could well hit a week in advance.
Monsoons are expected to hit Kerala on May 24, a week ahead of schedule.
The date on onset is usually June 1. But the Met department predicts it will hit the coast this year on May 24.
But that doesn't mean an early monsoon over the rest of the country.
Monsoons is predicted to arrive in Mumbai by 10 June and over Delhi by 29 June.
