Mumbai: The bigger the star, the tougher it is to reach him and nowhere has that happened as literally as with the Great Khali, who stands at 7 feet 3 inches.
But some kids did manage to bring the wrestler down to their level.
WWE wrestler Khali, who is in India currently, spent his Friday afternoon with underprivileged kids in Mumbai, patiently answering their questions.
“Main hoon hi Khali the great, isiliye mujhe Khali the Great naam diya hai,” he said. (“I am The Great Khali, that's why I have been given this name”). That cannot be doubted.
Another thing that everyone wants to know is what does Khali eat.
The children all threw in their guesses: “Chicken”, “milk”, “bajra roti”, “rice”.
For the wrestler, it surely has been a long journey from being a Punjab Police servant to being The Great Khali.
But wrestling is not the only sport that he knows. Just like any other Indian, he too is fond of cricket and Sachin tendulkar, who met him on this tour.
“Sachin had come. He is a very unique person. No matter how much we praise him, it is still not enough,” Khali said.
All said and done, he managed to woo little hearts with his gigantic moves.
