Bhopal: If President APJ Abdul Kalam decides to run for President a second time, he should not worry about getting support, and surely not when a seven-year-old girl is advocating his case.

Dolphin Aggarwal kicked off her campaign for Kalam’s re-election with a speech at her school assembly. And Dolphin’s gift of the gab could give any politician a run for his money.

“Kalam uncle should be re-elected. He has done so much in five years which we have not been able to do in 50 years,” says Dolphin.

And this 3rd standard student is doing her job well. A tireless campaigner, she goes from class to class, distributing pamphlets and wooing her schoolmates.

“President Kalam surely deserves a second term as he has done a lot for India. He is a great man and he is also known as the missile man. He has done a lot for the country's progress and he deserves a second term,” says a student in Dolphin’s school.

And Dolphin is not content with just winning over her school. She now plans to take the campaign across the country over the next two months.

Also, on her agenda is a meeting with the Prime Minister. And public meetings and road shows are also on the cards too.

So with this young gun on his side, it may just be time for the children's president to do a rethink and stay on in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
