New Delhi: If the story of students of Lucknow University being accompanied to campus by state-sponsored gunners were shocking, here’s a tale that’s even more bizarre.
In the nearby Kanpur, the teachers and parents of children of a school are protesting against a ninth standard student coming to school with a private gunman.
The incident has snowballed into such a big issue that teachers have sat on a dharna and parents are demanding the immediate rustication of Shardulya, son of a local political leader.
The guardians even resorted to traffic jam blocking the road in the front of school and teachers said that unless Shardulya was rusticated and proper security arrangements made they would continue their strike.
On January 20, Shardulya allegedly appeared in the school with a police gunner prompting teachers and staff to strike work.
