Islamabad: A 14-year-old Pakistani Hindu girl, whose abduction triggered reports of a planned exodus is now said to have been converted to Islam and married to a Muslim man. Her family, however, says she has been forced to do so.
"Abductors have forced her to convert and marry. She can't give up on her religion and is coerced into doing it. If we don't get her back, we will leave the country," says her father Ravet Mal.
Manisha Kumari's uncle also backs her father's claim. "She sounded scared on the phone. There were people around her dictating her, we could hear them giving her instructions," says girl's uncle Sanjay Singh.

The girl\'s father says she would have never given up on her religion and has been forced to convert.
Manisha is just the latest victim of a planned forcible conversion campaign, claim Pakistani Hindus like Jamna who have fled to India.
Hindus in Pakistan have been alleging harassment and religious persecution for years now. Reports earlier said a group of Hindus crossing over to India as pilgrims were not planning to return. But the Pakistan government insists all this is a conspiracy.
