Sushant Mehta: Ranvir how was the whole experience of doing Ugly Aur Pagli? It seems to be a really fun movie.
Ranvir Shorey Yes it is. A lot of fun and a very quirky romantic comedy.
Sushant Mehta: How was it working with Mallika Sherawat?
Ranvir Shorey Fabulous. I think she is very focussed, very hard-working and I think she has great instincts of filmmaking, which was quite surprising for me as well. It's been great fun.
Sushant Mehta: So who's playing ugly and who's playing pagli?
Ranvir Shorey I'll leave that for you to guess.
Sushant Mehta: The promo of the film says 99 slaps and 1 kiss. So was that one kiss worth it in the end?
Ranvir Shorey Well, I want to clarify that there are not 99 slaps in the film. Actually we haven't really counted them. The tagline says one kiss just to give you an idea of the kind of film it is. We have had films with 38 kisses and kisses are a big deal with us.
Sushant Mehta: You're a nice actor and all, but you're not really a kisser. Mallika is the pro. How was the experience?
Ranvir Shorey How do you know I am not a kisser?
Sushant Mehta: Well compared to Mallika... are you?
Ranvir Shorey You'll just have to ask somebody who has kissed both Mallika and me.
