One of his youngest fans in Kolkata visited the famous Kali Mandir on Tuesday to pray for his speedy recovery.
Mita Mondal went to the Kalighat Mandir with her parents carrying a photograph of Amitabh Bachchan.
The 9-year old is praying to Goddess Kali to heal the superstar.
Little Mita owes her life to the Big B, who donated two and a half lakh rupees towards her treatment.
Mita suffers from an acute cardiac condition. She wants her Amitabh uncle to recover soon.
Mita says, “I want Amitabh jethu (uncle) to recover fast as he saved my life. I am praying to God for him.
Mita met her savior when he visited Kolkata to promote his film in 2007. The superstar took her on his lap and kissed her, wishing her a quick recovery.

Debu says, “I am indebted to him. We all want him to recover soon and return home.
Bachchan was admitted to the Leelavati Hospital on his birthday after he complained of abdominal pain.
