What I fail to understand is why filmmakers always want their heroines to be perfectly shaped. And the shape does not include round! When I heard that Konkona Sen was paired with Ranbir Kapoor for a film, I too was shocked! And then I learned that it was because the makers wanted a 'normal' looking girl for the role.
That was fine by me! trust me! But guess what I heard recently. Apparently, the makers wanted to reshoot certain parts of the film Wake Up Sid because they though Koko was not looking her best (read fat).
And when they conveyed the same to the actress, she was furious! A little birdie tells us that Koko actually put her foot down (with a thud) and declared, "This is what I am and this is what you shall get!" way to go girl!
Director Ayan Mukherjee who also happens to be Rani Mukerji's cousin had no option but to move on to the next schedule.
Well, they wanted a normal looking girl and a 'normal' girl can't look like Miss Universe every minute! Even Juicy Mausi has her bad hair nights! Like really!
