Mumbai: When Hrithik Roshan made his television debut last year, the dance show he featured on registered among the highest TRPs.
Now, the actor has been approached for a second season of the show. However, the actor is yet to decide on it, despite being offered more money. Reason: He's focusing all his attention on his upcoming superhero film.
A source close to Roshan tells us that the channel is keen to retain the star judge for the new season, slated to start sometime in the first half of 2013. Our informer adds that the fee being offered to the star is also higher than before.
Apparently the actor, who was paid about Rs 1.75 crore per episode the first time, is being offered over Rs 2 crore this time. However, he hasn’t decided on it yet. "Hrithik is also the associate director on this film.
So even when he's not facing the camera, he's busy handling other directorial responsibilities," explains our source, maintaining that it remains to be seen how the actor will juggle his schedule next year.
As he elaborates, "If he's doing the show, then he'll have to manage between the post-production of his film and judging for the show. Maybe later this year, he’ll be in a relaxed state of mind to think it over."
