The veteran director KS Ravikumar is currently working in Bollywood for the Hindi remake of 'Saami' with Sunjay Dutt in the lead.
He has a long list of successful movies to his own credit, but why 'Saami'? When quizzed, he confirmed, "They had already acquired the copyrights for the film, and then called me over for direction. All said and done, people here do not seem to match up to my pace. However, I have rushed up to the stage where only a fight scene and two song sequences are pending."
However when asked about the upcoming Rajinikant film Kochadaiyaan the director says, "The film has come out really well. I and Rajini are happy with the outcome. Soundarya has invested a lot of efforts in this movie, and I am sure she will be well rewarded. The film is prone to be a crowd puller."
