Bangalore: Three boxes of the explosive ammonium nitrate and a gas cylinder have been found in Dharwad district in north Karnataka.

They were found at Singanahalli on the Pune Bangalore NH-4. A bomb disposal squad has been rushed to the spot from Bangalore.

Hubli – Dharwad is in the news for the past two years because of alleged terror activities. Karnataka police claim that they busted many sleeper cells in this region.

An alleged terror training camp was busted at Kalaghatagi near Dharwad, a few months back. A medical student was arrested from Hubli in this connection.
