The audio release function of 'Kumki' is going to be a grand affair, if one has to go by what is being buzzed in the K-Town. Kamal Haasan is expected to launch the music of the movie, which marks the acting debut of legendary Sivaji Ganesan's grandson Vikram Prabu, who is the son of Prabhu.
It is said Superstar Rajinikanth has also been approached to attend the event, since both Rajini and Kamal share a great rapport with Sivaji's family.
The film directed by Prabhu Solomon has musical score by D Imman. It is being produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers.

In the meantime, Lingusamy has confirmed that his next directorial venture would be with Suriya. However, he is not ready to drop the heroine's name. 'Because we have not taken a decision yet,' he said. The audio launch will take place on July 26 at the Sathyam Cinemas.
