London: Pop star Lady Gaga is set to embrace technology with her latest album Artpop by releasing it as an interactive application. The 26-year-old took to her own social networking site Little Monsters to announce the news, reported Daily Express online.
"I'm excited to tell you all that Artpop is going to be a multimedia experience that comes in different forms. The most major way to fully immerse yourself in Artpop is through the app...," she wrote. The singer said her fans inspired her to do this.
"You inspired me to create something that communicated with images, because you do, you communicate with me and each other. I'm hoping you will all continue to grow together and stay connected through your creativity," she added. The app will feature bonus content, including videos, games, extra tracks, and even chat options. Gaga will also release Artpop in physical and digital formats. It is expected to release next year.
