New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the Greater Noida authority on a petition filed by the villagers of Ghodi Bacheda, seeking to quash land acquisition by them in their village.
Earlier on, the Allahabad High Court had ordered the authorities to pay enhanced compensation to the villagers.
However, unhappy with the decision, the villagers approached the Supreme Court saying they wanted their land back instead of compensation.
