Premature babies at diabetes risk
Premature babies born with low birth weight are at greater risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes and high blood pressure by the time they reach their 20's.
A new study in the New England Journal Of Medicine compared 330 young adults and found that those born between 24 and 35 weeks at low birth weights, had higher blood sugar levels and higher blood pressure than those born at term.
Have broccoli, combat bladder cancer
You can reduce the risk of bladder cancer by 29 per cent by eating cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage, according to research published in the International Journal of Cancer.
Worldwide an estimated 336,000 new Bladder Cancer cases occur each year and is more common in men than in women.
