Madrid: Kaka has insisted that he is eager to stay at Real Madrid beyond the current season as he wants to respect his contract.
The Brazil international is continually being linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window after failing to nail down a regular first-team role with Real.
However, Kaka is determined to fight for his place at Madrid, and wants to stay put at the club despite acknowledging that he has not been as vital a player as he was with his previous team.

Kaka is determined to fight for his place at Madrid despite being continually being linked with a move away in the summer.
"I still have a contract for three more years and want to stay here to play my part in future successes. Winning the La Liga title was another milestone in my career," Kaka stated to Globo TV.
"It was a bit different than what I was used to because I was less important than before. This only motivates me to become a key player again."
The former AC Milan star then looked back at his side's Champions League semi-final loss to Bayern Munich after penalties, and conceded that his missed spot-kick is one of the all-time lows of his career.
"It is a moment that I will have to carry with me for the rest of my life. I have had some more negative experiences, though, like the lost Champions League final in 2005 with [AC] Milan and the 2010 World Cup with Brazil," said the midfielder.
