Click to play videoMumbai: As far as special screenings go, the screening of Khuda Ke Liye was quite the no-show and did not have the Bollywood A-list present — despite the fact that Naseeruddin Shah has a major role in the film.
However, the cast and the crew were very enthusiastic about the film's release this weekend.
Actor Rashid Naaz says, "Film aapko sawaal karne ko agar majboor karti hain toh hamari film successful ho gayi hain." ("If the film makes you want to question existing ideas, then I think our film is a success.")
Adds actor Austin, "It's an important film that asks important questions."
And actor Iman Ali takes the parting shot. "Let's see how intelligent the Indian actor is," says he.
If Khuda Ke Liye puts the Indian intelligence to test, then it would probably be worth a watch.
