Mumbai: The second day of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai saw the charity show Mai Mumbai. Supermodel Naomi Campbell and hotelier Vikram Chatwal joined hands with LFW to host this show. This is a fashion for relief benefit to raise funds for those affected by the terrorist attacks of 26/11.
Bollywood stars also came out to support the Mai Mumbai show. And celebrities who scorched the ramp included Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, Mehr Jesia, Farhan Akhtar, Kunal Kapoor, Rahul Bose and Malaika Arora Khan.
“I have been really dying to come for India’s fashion week. I have great respect for your country and the culture,” says Naomi.
Also adding to the glam quotient was actress Kangna Ranaut who strut her stuff for designer Narendra Kumar.
“I love Nari's outfits. I love the theme for the fashion show today so I wanted to be a part of it,” says Kangna.
And cashing in on the opportunity to promote their film was the team of 99.
Funny men Cyrus Broacha and Booman Irani, accompanied with their co-star Kunal Khemu made everyone smile as they hit the ramp for Krishna Mehta.
“This is my fashion time on the ramp I must confess that I haven't worn any underwear. Why waste linen, when we are wearing such good clothes,” says Cyrus.
“Well this is the second time I am walking the ramp. Though I don't wear much of Indian clothes, I love this jacket Krishna has given me. So I had a great time, it was a good show,” says Kunal.
