New Delhi: There is growing evidence to suggest that there could be a common link between those involved in the UP serial blasts and this year's blasts in Hyderabad.
The Uttar Pradesh police say that the timer and the explosives used in both the attacks were similar.
ADG ST Brij Lal said, "The timer that had been used, it was a 'Prince' model. It had been used in the Hyderabad blasts, and the same Prince model was used in the Faizabad blast.
"Apart from this, the battery was a small 12-volt battery. On it was written 'HW'. The same battery has been used in the Hyderabad and Faizabad blasts," he revealed.
A team of the UP police is presently in Jammu and Kashmir to secure the custody of two of the suspects in the November blasts.
They were arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir police recently.
