Click to play videoJaisalmer: Having sung the title song from the recently released film Nanhe Jaisalmer, Salim Khan is one of the many young Manganiyar folk artists who're proud to recount their brush with Bollywood courtesy a couple of scenes in the Bobby Deol-starrer.
Though only one film old, Salim and his friends are already dreaming the Bollywood dream.
“We want to go to Mumbai and prepare to do movies. We want to be heroes. We'll go to Mumbai and stay with Nanhe there,” says Salim.
“We're also praying to Allah that the movie should do well so that we should also be taken to Mumbai and we should become big heroes,” says another Manganiyar folk artist, Latif Khan.
Ask them about the shooting experience and Salim and his gang recount how Nanhe or child actor Dwij Yadav helped them overcome the language barrier.
“We didn't get their language, it was just a two minutes sequence but it took us three days and we still couldn't finish with it. Then Nanhe taught us a bit of the language on the fourth day,” says Latif.
Here's hoping the real Nanhe Jaisalmers also fulfill their reel dreams!
