New Delhi: Live Earth, a series of music concerts in Sydney is believed to be the biggest organised event ever. It will travel to all continents with its mission to fight global warming.
Live Earth will tell the world about the dangers of climate change through music. Performers like Madonna, Metallica, The Police and Kanye West will perform a marathon concert of over 24 hours in all seven continents across the globe.
The concert will kick off in Australia on July 7 and proceeds will help in offsetting the event's greenhouse gas emissions.
In Japan, the two concerts that will be held will be powered by solar and wind energy and nine different recycling bins will be provided to encourage people to form healthy habits.
China that has been blamed for spewing high levels of green house gasses as a result of its booming economy, no stones are being unturned to prepare the stage.
Live Earth is inspired and backed by former Vice President of USA, Al Gore.
If the concert serves its purpose, then over two million people will realise and resort to environmentally healthy habits.
