New Delhi: A strategy meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the presidential elections is being held at the residence of senior leader L K Advani. The meeting is also being attended by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, veteran leader Jaswant Singh and Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy.
According to sources, Swamy is keen on launching an all out attack on UPA presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee from an NDA platform. The Janata Party chief wants the NDA to accuse Mukherjee of involvement in corruption cases.
Meanwhile, sources said that several NDA leaders are unhappy with the way the agenda has been hijacked.
According to sources, Subramanian Swamy is keen on launching an attack on Pranab Mukherjee from an NDA platform.
At the moment, the situation seems to be favouring Swamy, for Advani is convinced that the Janata Party chief can add to the NDA tally.
