New Delhi: Director John Madden's comedy film 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' is being released on May 18, 2012 in India. The film features many known actors like Dev Patel, Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Penelope Wilton and others.
The film revolves around seven British retirees who come to India to stay in the newly restored Marigold Hotel. However, what they find in India is completely opposite of their expectations. Will the Indian culture and people change their lives forever?

The hotel is just a shadow of it's former self.
The new environment is far less luxurious than they had imagined.
But the events that follow change the lives of the retirees forever.
They are transformed by their shared experiences at 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'.
The retirees learn that love and life can happen again once they let go of the past.
The hotel is based in an old age home in Bangalore.
The movie has been directed by John Madden and written by Ol Parker.
It is based on the novel of the same name.
The movie is slated for a March 9, 2012 release.
The movie is Tena Desae's first venture in to Hollywood.
She is paired opposite Dev Patel.
