The rain has stopped but the covers are still on. Groundsmen are working very hard but it is quite evident that it will take some more time. The play might start but the fate of the Test is probably a draw unless a miracle happens.
It is still drizzling in Wellington. Covers are still on and umpires are yet to take a call.
The fifth day's action will not start on time as far as the last inspection by the umpires. The umpires will take more time to take a call on the match.
Day 4 summary: After following on, New Zealand have come up with better batting display and showed enough resistance against England's fast bowlers.
After Fulton and Rutherford departed, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor have built a partnership of 81 runs so far. Though, only 35 overs were possible on day four as rain interrupted the match.
