Riding on a fifty from Tillakaratne Dilshan, Sri Lanka finished day four on 116 for 1 leading Bangladesh by 48 runs in the second innings.

End of over 30: Sri Lanka 116 for 1 at stumps: It was a day that mostly belonged to Bangladesh. Mushfiqur Rahim became the first batsman to score a double ton for Bangladesh after Ashraful fell for 190. Nasir Hossain also chipped in with a hundred to give Bangladesh a lead of 68 runs. Sri Lanka, in their second innings lost only one wicket that of Dimuth Karunaratne and already overhauled the lead. Currently, Sri Lanka are leading by 48 runs with Dilshan and Sangakkara are in the middle.
End of over 20: Sri Lanka 74 for 1: Sri Lanka have gone past Bangladesh and taken the lead of six runs so far. Dilshan is batting on 45 and Sangakkara is on 25. Meanwhile, Sangakkara got a life as Mushfiqur Rahim dropped him behind the stumps. Sohag Gazi was the unfortunate bowler.

End of over 5: Sri Lanka 17 for 1: Shahadat Hossain provides the much needed early boost for Bangladesh as he picked up Karunaratne with short pitched delivery. karunaratne could not read the line and pulled it and abul Hasan grabs the catch with ease on deep square-leg.
End of over 4: Sri Lanka 17 for 0: In their second innings, Sri Lanka have started off briskly as Tillakaratne Dilshan and Dimuth Karunaratne opened the innings for them. They are trailing by 51 runs at the moment.
End of over 196: Bangladesh all out for 638 at tea: It is tea on Day 4. Bangladesh finish their innings on 638 taking a lead of 68 runs. Nasir Hossain scored 100 and became the third centurion of the innings.

End of over 175: Bangladesh 575 for 6: Bangladesh have taken the lead as they are five runs ahead now. Nasir Hossain is batting on 70 and Sohag Gazi who has joined Hossain is batting on 18. After the departure of Mushfiqur Rahim, Bangladesh have started scoring bit faster.
End of over 168: Bangladesh 551 for 6: What a contrasting picture in Galle!! After making history for Bangladesh Mushfiqur Rahim departs. Kulasekara trapped him in front of the wicket and captain departs for exactly 200. They are still trailing by 19 runs.
End of over 166: Bangladesh 546 for 5 at lunch: Another session goes in Bangladesh's favour. They have lost only one wicket and that of Mohammad Ashraful for 190. Mushfiqur Rahim is not out on 198, just couple of runs away from making a history for Bangladesh. Nasir Hossain is batting on 61.
End of over 163: Bangladesh 537 for 5: Another fantastic partnership is on progress. Nasir Hossain has already raised his fifty and looks very solid and on the other side Mushfiqur Rahim is not far away to become the first man from Bangladesh to make a double hundred. He is batting on 195.
End of over 154: Bangladesh 500 for 5: Bangladesh have reached 500-run mark. Such a brilliant effort from them. This is the only second time they have scored 500 runs in Tests. Mushfiqur Rahim is inching closer to his double ton as he and Nasir Hossain have shared a partnership of 56 already.
End of over 148: Bangladesh 473 for 5: Nasir Hossain has joined Mushfiqur Rahim in the middle. Both of them are trying to build a partnership once again. Rahim is the key man here for Bangladesh as they are still trailing by 97 runs.
End of over 141: Bangladesh are 446 for 5: Mohammad Ashraful tried to hit Herath over his head but he mistimed it and the edge went straight to Angelo Mathews in first slip. Ashrafulful departs for 190 and it is a huge set back for Bangladesh. Rangana Herath picks up the key wicket.
Day 3 summary: Mohammad Ashraful and Mushfiqur Rahim took Bangladesh to a comfortable position on Day 3. In reply to Sri Lanka's 570, Bangladesh are now 438 for 4 trailing by 132 runs. Ashraful is batting on 189 and Rahim is on 152. Only two wickets fell on Day 3 that of Mominul Haque and Mahmudullah.
