Live updates from day two of the third Test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at Galle international stadium.
Bangladesh second innings:
End of over 22: Bangladesh 70 for 1 at stumps: That is it. The players shake hands as the match ends in a draw. Both the teams dominated with the bat but not much with the ball. This is for the first time Bangladesh have drawn a Test match against Sri Lanka. Mushfiqur Rahim was the star for Bangladesh as he scored a brilliant double ton and became the first Bangladesh batsman to do so. Kumar Sangakkara scored hundreds in both of the innings.
End of over 19: Bangladesh 57 for 1: Angelo Mathews has used all his bowlers to break the deadlock but Ashraful and Islam have denied so far and going along strongly. Bangladesh need another 211 runs to win and just 18 overs are remaining in this match. Umpires can speak to both the captains very soon.
End of over 11: Bangladesh 33 for 1: No further success for Sri Lanka as both Jahurul Islam and Mohammad Ashraful are going along steadily. Islam is on 23 and Ashraful is on 7. They need another 234 runs to win with minimum of 25 overs remaining.

Sri Lanka second innings:
End of over 83: Sri Lanka 335 for 4: Sri Lanka have declared their innings on 335 for 4 as they have the lead of 267. Bangladesh need 268 runs to win which seems impossible at the moment since just onbe more session to go.

The debutant Vithanage raised his fifty and becomes the 8th batsman for Sri Lanka to score a fifty in debut Test. Mathews is batting on 25 off 39 balls. Tea is not far away and after that umpires might take a call to end the match if both the captains agree.
End of over 73: Sri Lanka 271 for 3: Vithanage and captain Angelo Mathews are going nicely so far. One can't see much urgency in their batting as both of them is not pushing the run rate. Though, it is a good opportunity for Vithanage to prove his worth. He is batting on 28 and Mathews is on 6.
