    As it happened: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test, Day 3

    Shakib Al Hasan (59) and Mushfiqur Rahim (50*) anchored the second innings after the visitors lost early wickets to guide Bangladesh to 163 for 5 at stumps on day three.

    Bangladesh second innings:

    End of over 44, Bangladesh 140 for 4: Shakib Al Hasan scored a solid fifty and at the other end is well supported by Mushfiqur Rahim who is batting in the forties. Bangladesh now lead Zimbabwe by 258 runs.

    End of over 16, Bangladesh 43 for 3 (tea) : 20 runs in last seven overs for Bangladesh. Monimul Haque (15*) and Shakib Al Hasan (13*) take the visitors' lead to 152 runs.

    End of over 9, Bangladesh 22 for 3 : Just the start Zimbabwe needed. Top three Bangladesh batsmen Tamim Iqbal (7), Jahurul Islam (2) and Mohd Ashraful (4) are back in the hut. Shingi Masakadza accounted for the first two while while Kyle Jarvis removed Ashraful. Shakib Al Hasan and Mominul Haque are at the crease at present. Bangladesh's overall lead goes up to 131.

    End of over 96, Zimbabwe 282 all out: Here goes the last batsman. Kyle Jarvis is clean-bowled by Sohag Gazi for a duck. AG Cremer remains unbeaten on 11. With that wicket, Bangladesh take a 109-run first-innings lead. As of now, it's surely the visitors in the driver's seat.

    End of over 95, Zimbabwe 281 for 9: Two more wickets for Bangladesh after the lunch interval. First Sohag Gazi gets Keegan Meth out caught behind by wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim and then in the very next over Shingi Masakadza falls in identical fashion to Robiul Islam. Bangladesh now just a wicket short from going into the lead.

    End of over 88.3, Zimbabwe 255 for 7: Zimbabwe take lunch at 255 for 7 just after their well-settled batsman Elton Chigumbura departed for a solid 86 off 111 balls.     End of over 87, Zimbabwe 249 for 6: Wicket! Robiul Islam scalps Richmond Mutumbami to give Bangladesh a major success. Mutumbami scored a magnificent 42 and stitched 85 runs for the sixth wicket with Chigumbura. Mutumbami smashed three boundaries and a six in his gritty knock.

    End of over 73, Zimbabwe 193 for 5: Fifty! Elton Chigumbura scores his career's second Test fifty as Zimbabwe avoid follow-on against Bangladesh. Chigumbura took just 56 balls to reach his fifty and smashed five boundaries in his blistering knock. Chigumbura resumed on day two at his overnight score of 45 runs.

    End of over 66, Zimbabwe 163 for 5:: Wicket! Sohal Gazi strikes early to dismiss Malcolm Waller for 32 runs. Waller looked in good touch on day one and stitched 66 runs for the fifth wicket with Elton Chigumbura. He struck four boundaries in his knock.

    Zimbabwe were 158 for 4 at stumps with Elton Chigumbura and Malcolm Waller at the crease. Chigumbura turned the game around for Zimbabwe quite a bit scoring 45* off 49 balls. The hosts were trailing Bangladesh by 233 runs.
