People-to-People Ties: The Heart of the US-India Partnership

As a follow-up to the US-India Higher Education Dialogue, Under Secretary of State for Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy Tara Sonenshine and Indian Ambassador to the US Nirupama Rao discussed how people-to-people ties are the heart of the US-India relationship. Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Robert Blake moderated the live webchat. The Under Secretary and Ambassador answered questions from throughout India and talked about issues that are of vital importance to both countries.
