Liverpool: Liverpool recorded only its second win in seven Premier League matches by beating Southampton 1-0 from Daniel Agger's first-half goal on Saturday.

The Denmark center back scored in the 43rd minute with a header for his first goal of the season and his fifth in 133 league appearances.

It was Liverpool's third home victory of the season and back-to-back league wins at Anfield for the first time since September 2011. But the Reds' familiar prolificacy was again apparent - having 14 shots alone in the first half - and leading scorer Luis Suarez picked up his fifth booking, ruling him out of the West Ham match next week.
