Mumbai: The movers and shakers of the city are all set for Arun Nayar and Liz Hurley's big bash in Jodhpur.
CNN-IBN’s Rohit Khilnani caught up with the couple's close friends, ad filmmaker Kailash Surendranath and socialite wife Aarti Surendranath for their party plans.
CNN-IBN: So are you all set for the party?
Kailash: Yes, we are ready.
CNN-IBN: So, what’s the plan like?
Aarti: No, that I am not going to tell you, but I’ll say that we are all set for the party.
CNN-IBN: Tell us about the video that you did for them?
Kailash: Both Arun and Liz are very talented. We shot the video in one day after a three-hour rehearsal after Liz flew in. We did a typical Bollywood-style video.
Aarti: It was just a suggestion from the couple. It so happened that it became something that everyone’s talking about.
CNN-IBN: So, which Bollywood song did they dance to?
Aarti: See, this is all according to their wishes. It’s something very, very private.
CNN-IBN: Tell us about Arun. He’s not a public guy, is he? He doesn’t give interviews?
Aarti: He likes it that way. It’s very easy to be known and jump out of the box. He just doesn’t want it that way.
Kailash: Arun is a very Bombay guy. Only thing is that he doesn’t spends too much time here as he travels. He’s been to England and Germany. But he has a lot of friends in Bombay and many people know him.
CNN-IBN: Is Liz excited about her Indian wedding?
Aarti: Of course she is. Any girl will be excited about her wedding. She’s wonderful, an amazingly wonderful woman.
