New Delhi: Army Chief General Bikram Singh will visit the home of martyr Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh who was killed near the LoC by Pakistani troops on January 8. The Army Chief will visit Dadhiya village in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh to meet the family of Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh on Friday.
A special team of Army has already reached Sidhi to prepare for the General's trip.
Gen Singh on Wednesday visited the home of Lance Naik Hemraj who was beheaded by Pakistan Army last week. Gen Singh had on Monday said he would visit the home of Hemraj, whose family had gone on a six-day fast demanding that his head be brought back from Pakistan.
On January 8, the two soldiers, Lance Naiks Sudhakar Singh and Hemraj Singh were killed near the LoC by Pakistani troops. The jawans belonged to 13 Rajputana Rifles. Pakistan Army regulars took away the head of Hemraj as trophy and also mutilated the body of the other soldier.
