New Delhi: The clamour for inclusion of quota in the Lokpal Bill is becoming louder as the Government agrees to introduce the Bill in Parliament in the winter session itself.
"Don't think the Government is dangling carrot, but how can demand of 165 MPs on reservation be ignored? We will carry on our agitation, even as Anna used a Dalit girl to break his fast," said Ram Vilas Paswan.
"Reservation is the law of the land, and if such a big institution is created it should have quota for backwards. We have been demanding that," said SP leader Mohan Singh.
Reacting on the Government's plan to extend the winter session over Lokpal, BJP leader Balbir Punj said, "The Government is confused. (It's like) one step forward two step backward. We want a strong Lokpal Bill to be passed in the current session. I don't know what this Government plans to do."
