Narco tests in Sohrabuddin case
A local court in Gujarat will decide on the CID's request to do narco analysis, brain mapping and other tests on the IPS officers held in connection with the fake encounter killing of Sohrabuddin Sheikh.

The CID wants the tests conducted at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Gandhinagar.

Budhia's coach summoned
A Child Welfare Committee in Orissa has issued summons to runner Budhia's coach Biranchi Das to present himself on Friday.

The committee has said the boy should not be subjected to exploitation and suffering.

The committee summoned biranchi das after an announcement on the Bhubaneswar-Kolkata 'road show' in which Budhia is expected to take part.

Trains cancelled on Borivali-Virar section
The Western Railway has cancelled at least 25 per cent of the local services to Borivali and Virar for three days starting from Friday at 11 pm.

This is to enable laying of new lines between Borivali and Virar.

At least 280 trains are expected to be off the tracks during this period.
