Lookaheads: What's making news today

New Delhi: Maninder Singh Kohli's extradition case will come up for hearing before Delhi High court, as will a petition challenging the conviction of Shibu Soren. Meanwhile, the father of one of the victims in the Noida serial killings case will depose before a special court.

Maninder Kohli extradition case

The Maninder Singh Kohli extradition case will come up for hearing before Delhi High Court on Friday. Kohli is accused of raping and killing 17-yr-old British girl Hannah Foster in 2003.

He had challenged the trial court order. The High Court had stayed his extradition and had asked the Government to respond to his appeal.

Shibu Soren case hearing

The Delhi High Court will hear a petition challenging the conviction of former union minister and JMM leader Shibu Soren on Friday. He is in a Dumka jail serving life imprisonment for the murder of his private secretary, Shashi Nath Jha.

Nithari victim's father to depose

The father of one of the victims in the Noida serial killings case will depose before a special court on Friday. Businessman Moninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help, Surendra Koli, are accused of killing more than 20 children and young women at Nithari in Noida.
