Mumbai: Pyaar Ke Side Effects directed by debutant director Saket Chaudhury hits the theatres this week. So, CNN-IBN decided to get some love gyaan from the cast of the film.

"Women will let you have sex with them in the hope that you will fall in love with them. And men will say I love you in the hope that women will let you have sex with them," actor, Rahul Bose said.

That’s love guru Rahul Bose for you.

Ask the actor anything about love-hate relationships and he can go on and on. So, here's the first question — does love really have side effects?

"No negative side effects of men falling in love. Men, I have seen in the past and observed from my experiences also that they get calmer. Gone is the restless discontent to show your machismo," Rahul explained.

Though the entire team of Pyaar Ke Side Effects is happily giving gyaan on love and the 'Mars versus Venus' theory, the leading actress Mallika Sherawat is nowhere to be seen.

After her last few films bombed at the box office, Mallika has decided to keep mum. But others on the team have lots to say.

"I can’t go and say that we are good friends and we know each other. We don’t," actress, Sophie Chaudhary said.

"It’s an adventure. It’s not for the faint hearted. If one is a director and has a certain way of working then that will be challenged," director, Saket Chaudhary said.

The rumour doing the rounds is that the film had a tough time finding a distributor because no one wants to see Mallika as a plain Jane.

But Rahul Bose has the last word. "If you want to see t*** and a**** then go and buy tickets for another movie."
