Mumbai: Prolific lyricist Sameer completed 50 years and celebrated it with friends from the music industry.
Apart from the 50-year milestone, it was also time to celebrate because Sameer had found a place in the Limca Book of Records for penning over 3000 songs for films in 25 years.
Having spent over two decades in the industry, the man is not without his admirers. “Sammer ji is god's gift to the film industry. It is difficult to find a steady and an evergreen writer like him,” says singer, Alka Yagnik.
Music Director, Ismail Darbar says that his is a gift full of love as the rest is all a showoff. Being a lyricist, Sameer knows how deep these words run.
