'Maatrraan's' distribution right sold for Rs 3.25 crore in Kerala

'Maatrraan's' distribution rights in Kerala have been reportedly bought for a whooping Rs 3.25 crore. It has been bought by Thameen movies and is the highest distribution cost for Suriya in Malayalam.

The film, directed by KV Anand, will be releasing worldwide on October 12 in 1300+ screens. Surya will be playing a dual role, including both the characters of Siamese twins.

It has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead and Harris Jeyaraj has composed some foot-tapping numbers for the soundtrack. The film is being distributed by AGS Entertainment in Tamil Nadu and is also being released in Telugu with the name 'Brothers'.
