Click to play videoMumbai:The destination for the 10th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards has been announced. This year the IIF will be held in Macau - the Las Vegas of Asia. And the IIFA brand ambassador spoke about the new location for the award.
The three day affair will take place on the June 11, 12 and 13.
"It is a fantastic place, a great tourist attractions. It is perhaps one of the richest states in the world today. I quite certain that with IIFA being held there, there would be a great amount of interest," said Amitabh.
The venue was announced at a press conference held in Mumbai on Tuesday evening along with the declaration of its nominations decided through an unique voting system which according to Amitabh Bachchan makes it one of the most credible awards.
"I know how this one functions and I think this is a very fair way of doing it. Everyone comes and casts their vote on a computer, no one is provoked, you have your own voting cubicle which is much like the voting which happens in a democratic society," he said.
But talk about votes and how can one miss asking about the general elections, and this is what Big B had to say.
"Most certainly, I'm going to vote and so should everyone. Be there," he said.
