New Delhi: The phone's been ringing off the hook and with party workers and leaders congratulating BSP supremo Mayawati for her landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh.

But, what's with that ringtone that almost every follower of the Dalit messiah of the state have downloaded?

The ringtone is called Behen Kumari Mayawati Zindabad (long live Mayawati) and has become pretty much a must for all staunch supporters of Mayawati.

The people of the city remained busy throughout the night sending messages to each other on mobile phones asking for 'the ringtone of the day' as initially only 'the privileged few' had it.

But as the night grew darker, more and more people started claiming having the 'precious ringtone' and took immense pride in flaunting it by making their cellphones blurt it out on one pretext or another.

Even Samajwadi Party supporters - who changed sides as soon as the coronation of Mayawati as Cheif Minister was evident - began downloading the ringtone. Not only that, these SP followers replaced their own flags with blue coloured ones, in the manner of true opportunists.

People at the BSP headquarters and even on the roads were seen greeting each other with 'Jai Bhim', the official slogan of the party.

Mayawati was also greeted by ' Jai Bhim' by her supporters when she went to offer her gratitude to her mentor and BSP founder the late Kanshi Ram, Bhim Rao Ambedkar and other Dalit leaders.
