Madhan Karky completed century, wrote his 100th song for Tamil film 'Settai'

In less than two years he started his journey as a lyricist, Madhan Karky has penned 100 songs. It all began with 'Irumbile oru idhayam...', a chart buster in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran' in 2010.

And now, one of the songs he has penned for 'Settai' has turned out to be the 100th number of Madhan Karky, son of veteran poet and lyric writer Vairamuthu.

"Wrote my 100th song last night. A breezy romantic number for 'Settai'. Thanks to director Kannan and @MusicThaman for the song," wrote Madhan Karky on his Twitter page.

Madhan Karky wrote his first song for Rajinikanth\'s \'Enthiran\' in 2010 and now he writes his 100th song.

Thanking one and all, he added: "The journey from #irumbile to this song would not have been possible without your wishes, feedback and support."

At present, Karky is penning lyrics for a host of movies, including Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal'.
