New Delhi: Superstar Madonna's new album Hard Candy is already causing ripples in the music industry. She enlisted hit producers Pharrell and Timbaland to help on the album and it has a distinct dance and hip-hop feel.
"I like to think that when you listen to the record, you don't just go, 'Oh, that is a Timbaland record or that's Pharrell.' That you hear it and you go, 'There is something new and different about it,’" said Madonna.
The first single from the album is called '4 minutes' and features Justin Timberlake and is already a hit.
Madonna also doesn’t seem bothered by the fact that Mariah Carey released her album in the same month.
“I don't really pay any attention to it, but I love her new record, 'Touch My Body’. It's good. I exercise to it everyday," she said and added, “I love doing abs to Eminem because it is angry music and you can do a lot of reps."
In addition to promoting Hard Candy, Madonna is also busy promoting her film I Am Because We Are.
The documentary shows the devastation that AIDS, hunger and poverty has caused Malawi.
