New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday attacked the government over the security lapse. The remarks in the backdrop of the bomb blasts at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya in which five people are injured.
"If this is a result of issue in Myanmar, it is a new front of terrorism," BJP spokesperson Prakash Javedkar said.
The BJP also appealed the Central as well as the state government to investigate the matter seriously. "This is extremely unfortunate, we condemn it. We appeal the Central and Bihar government to investigate this matter seriously," he said.
"We condemn the incident. When there were intelligent inputs, they should be taken seriously. Stringent actions should be taken," BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
"This is a security lapse. If there were intelligence reports then why no action was taken by state government," he said.
