Maharashtra: 7 youngsters drowned in Arabian sea

Ganpatipule: Seven tourists drowned in Arabian sea off Ganpatipule beach in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, police said on Sunday.

While five of the seven bodies were fished out, two more bodies are still missing, they said.

The seven picnickers from Thane and Solapur ventured into the water last evening and were not far from the sea shore when they were swept away by strong current, police said.
