Nagpur: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad on Sunday arrested a suspected Indian Mujahideen activist, Mohammad Talha, from Nagpur.
Mohammad Talha is also alleged to possess crucial information about the terror outfit involved in the Ahmedabad and Delhi blasts earlier this year.
The police is currently questioning 23-year-old Talha for his alleged links with Ahmedabad blast suspects Mufti Abu Bashir, Sadik Sheikh, Mohammad Kaif and Arif, all of whom are natives of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
He is also supposed to be a close confidant of Mohammad Atif who was killed in Batla House encounter on September 19 in Delhi.
Talha was allegedly working in a Delhi-based BPO when the conspiracy for Delhi serial blasts were hatched, but fled from the city after Abu Bashir's arrest.
Talha hails from an affluent family in Azamgarh and is a financial analyst.
