Mumbai: Irshad Ahmed had left home with dreams of success, only to return in a coffin. He, along with 40 odd students of the Amrutvahini College of Engineering in Sangamner, Maharashtra, were visiting Hyderabad.

They were on a three-day industrial tour of Cyberabad in the city and were watching the laser show on the fateful Saturday when the blast ripped through Lumbini Park.

Irshad was was among the seven students who died in the blast. His friends describe him as a fun loving boy, who loved to play football and never missed a movie. He scored well in school and wanted to do his MBA as soon as he finished engineering.

Irshad had spoken to his father, Abdul Ghani, on the morning of the blast and had asked for permission to go on the college trip. Abdul Ghani now says that he regrets the conversation more than anything else.

"Khali yaadein reh gayi hai. (He has gone, only his memories remain)," says the dejected man.

And Irshad's family is not the only one devastated by the attacks.

Saurabh Kumar was another engineering student, who along with Irshad perished in the Hyderabad blasts.

His sister, Sneha Kumar, received his body at the Pune airport. Saurabh was to visit Sneha on August 28 for Raksha Bandhan.

"Mummy hasn't eaten anything since she's heard the news. I am only waiting for my father to return," says Sneha.

Meanwhile, Sachin Bhavar's father is struggling to forgive himself for allowing his son to go on the tour. Bhavar was one of the seven students who perished in the blast at Lumbini Park.

His friends, who were eagerly waiting for his return, are now waiting to receive his body.
