The Maharashtra police has arrested the rape accused following the victim's complaint.

The alleged crime took place when the girl was returning home from her office. The accused reportedly abducted and raped her.

Significantly, three sisters, all minors were allegedly raped, murdered and their bodies dumped in a well in the district a few weeks back. The three girls had gone missing from their school on February 14 and their bodies were found in the well a few hours later. But till now no arrests have taken place.
