Maharashtra: 32 pilgrims killed in bus accident

Osmanabad: More than 32 pilgrims were killed and 20 others were injured when a bus fell into a gorge near Osmanabad district in Maharashtra.

The incident took place at 2.30 am on Saturday. The bus was carrying a group of Sai Baba devotees from Osmanabad to Hyderabad.

"Oil from the bus has leaked. We had to struggle to rescue survivors and retrieve the victims' bodies from water," said a police official.

The injured were taken to Civil Hospital in Solapur district in Maharashtra for treatment.
